Manjalamkuzhi Ali
The Manjalamkuzhi Group stands as a testament to the vision and entrepreneurial spirit of Manjalamkuzhi Ali, an esteemed former minister of Kerala and the current Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Ali’s journey began humbly as an accountant in Dubai, but his passion for business ignited a remarkable trajectory that would span decades and industries.
In the 1980s, Ali ventured into the world of business, starting in Saudi Arabia. Despite initial challenges and failures, his perseverance paid off with the success of Aysha Textiles, a milestone that marked the beginning of the Manjalamkuzhi Group’s legacy. Building on this success, the group expanded into the perfume industry, securing the coveted GCC distribution rights for the prestigious Royal Mirage Perfumes.
As the group’s reputation and ambitions grew, they diversified further into the entertainment industry with the establishment of Mak Productions. This venture brought significant contributions to Malayalam cinema, producing iconic films such as The King and Amaram, which remain celebrated classics.
